**** FOUR STARS! If you have a soft heart then you better keep the tissues close by as you read this gem. This is the first in the Matchmaker Trilogy. This title is a stand-alone story, filled with strong characters that deserve a second chance at love. I am not just talking about Sophia and David either. Young Carissa's life has been anything but easy. I found myself coming to care for this brave teen more than any other character. In my opinion, the two elderly schemers do not play large enough roles within the story. I am hoping to see these charming and cunning ladies be more involved next time. I am pleased to be able to recommend this piece of Women's Fiction to all. I look forward to more titles from this author. ****
