My Writing...

The Promise©2007 Single Title Contemporary Romance
Lillian Rose had not been born under normal circumstances.  As a tornado tore through her family's ranch she was born in the cellar.  That night Bryan Ward, a friend of the family, promised to always take care of her.

Years would find Bryan on the road as a musician and an aide to Lillian's blooming acting career on Broadway (1930's) and in Hollywood, but when feelings surface between them the only option is for Bryan to hit the road.

Terrence Brenner, director, can't help but to fall in love with the talented Lillian Rose, but her undying love for Bryan Ward will always be in the forefront of her heart.

Can Bryan's promise to take care of Lillian keep from getting in the way of her marriage as they find themselves intertwined by their careers?

The Promise was my very first work!  I started it when I was 13 (as you might conclude...an edited version!)  I spent 22 years writing these characters over and over again.  Early in 2007 I was able to come up with a version I liked.  By that time I was ready to put them to rest for awhile.  They will be revisited soon and hopefully you'll get to meet Lillian Rose, Bryan Ward and Terrence Brenner, finally!

The Forgotten©2007 Single Title Contemporary Romance

Lance Roberts becomes The Forgotten when his fiancée Delaney Starr’s memories of him and the years they have shared are erased after a near fatal car accident.  Determined to make her fall in love with him all over again he will only have to overcome one obstacle, the only man she remembers loving, her husband.  However, even Delaney is in for a shock when she finds they are divorced, he has remarried and is expecting his first child.

Can Delaney accept what she doesn’t remember and fall in love with Lance again?

The Forgotten was my 2nd full manuscript.  My muse a line in a song about tail lights disappearing down the road... funny where the ideas come!

Admirer©2007 Category Romance

Admired by millions of women around the world, Jesse Charles, the chart-topping pop-star is living the good life.  But when he meets Melissa Thomas, a widowed single mother, back stage at one of his concerts he falls in love.  Suddenly Melissa has an Admirer and the attention drawn to the small town biology teacher is more than she can handle.  Jesse will have to move fast to convince her to love him before she marries someone else.

Admirer has been my quickest work!  This was also written in 2007 in a matter of a few weeks.

Doesn't everyone wish a sexy musician fell in love with them?  Oh, and Tim McGraw...my fan club card is still in tact!  (reference in the book...)

First Kiss©2007 Category Romance

Cade Carter's professional football career ended with an injury.  He had nothing left and no one around, having pushed his family and friends away.  But when his father dies he must return to the small Kansas town where he grew up and tie up loose ends.

Olivia Baker has returned to the small Kansas town with her young son to start a new life.  Never would she expect that her one time childhood friend, but teenage bully, would return at the same time.

Can Olivia put aside the pain Cade caused her and follow her heart?  Can Cade accept the truth of Olivia's son's paternity?  Falling in love may be harder than either of them expected.

Executive Decision ©2008  Category Romance
Regan Porter's new job has given her an opportunity to move on from the mistakes of her past, but when she falls in love with her new boss, Zachary Benson, she's sure to repeat the mistake.  Can she hide her past long enough that it will be forgotten or will Zachary have to make an Executive Decision and choose her or his business?

This is book one in a series of four following the Porter family introduced in Executive Decision.

Pleasant Revenge ©2008 Category Romance

Cellist Sophia Burkhalter is happy making her own music.  But when a pair of
octogenarian friends decide to meddle in Sophia's life she finds herself face to face with Ronald Kendal, the man she walked out on ten years earlier.  It seems like the Matchmaking duo of her grandmother and his aunt aren't quite finished being matchmakers.
